❤️ "Why I donate with every order - my story with animals"
(by Konstantin, founder of bandkult.de)
I think there are things in every life that quietly shape you - without you really understanding it as a child. For me, these were animals.
Animals were never just "there" - they were my friends. My family. My comfort. My home.
And today it's time to give something back.
I'm Konstantin, founder of bandkult.de - an e-commerce store for Apple Watch bands.
But what I'm telling you here has nothing to do with technology or fashion. It has to do with heart.
My first animal was a German shepherd. He was already there when I was born - like a big brother on four paws. I can't remember a single picture from my childhood where he isn't lying somewhere next to me. When he died in 2006, I was still a small child. I remember crying for three days straight. That was the first time I felt real pain.
It wasn't just "a dog". It was my soulmate.
Then came two rabbits. I loved them the way you can only love as a child - unconditionally. Then two budgies. Fish in the aquarium. Later, in my youth, it was the neighbor's cat.
She was special.
I was often out late, as you are when you're young. And every time I walked home at around three in the morning - in our little cul-de-sac - she would suddenly appear.
150 meters away.
She had heard or sensed me. And then she would run towards me. Every evening. I cuddled her, gave her something to eat and she walked me to the door.
It wasn't a cat. It was a silent, nocturnal guardian angel on four paws.
When the neighbors moved and took her with them, it was a real loss for me.
Today I live with my partner, who has the same love of animals. And with her four wonderful cats. We cuddle, laugh and cry with them. They belong to us. And even if one of these cats passes away in 2023, her place will remain in our hearts forever.
I also remember something else. As a little boy, I once accidentally crushed a small mouse. I was shocked.
I grabbed it, put it on my bike and raced to the vet as fast as I could. Nothing else mattered at that moment.
I wanted to save her.
But it was too late.
I still remember how sad I was. And I've also known ever since: animals are not a side note in my life - they are part of my story.
That's why I decided:
From July 20, 2025, €1 will automatically be donated to animal shelters in Germany with every order on bandkult.de.
Whether it's 50 orders or 10,000 - every euro goes out.
Because it's not about marketing. Not about image. It's about what counts:
Life. Love. Responsibility.
When you order from us, you get a high-quality Apple Watch strap.
But you also give hope to an animal in need.
And that is perhaps worth more than any product.
Thank you for helping us together.
Yours
Konstantin

🖤 These are my deceased pets - unforgotten
Some friends stay forever - even when they are gone.
Here I would like to pay tribute to my deceased pets who gave me so much love, closeness and comfort. Each of these animals has a place in my heart - and is one of the reasons why I want to give something back today with Bandkult.de.

Max, my faithful German shepherd - my first best friend
Franz & Sissi, my two lively budgies

Pinki, the loving rabbit with a big heart
Bear, the neighbor's cat, who greeted me every night on my way home - until the neighbors unfortunately moved

💶 How our fundraising campaign works - fair & transparent
With every order on bandkult.de, €1 is automatically set aside for animal welfare. On the 27th of each month, we count the total number of orders from the current month. The corresponding total amount is then transferred directly to a selected German animal shelter - without deductions, without detours. 50 orders? → 50 € will be donated. 5000 orders? → 5000 € will be donated to animal welfare. The donation recipients change regularly so that different animal shelters throughout Germany receive support. We publish the recipients and donation amounts transparently - so you know where your euro is going. Every order counts. Every euro helps.
