🌈 2. Narrower display edges
According to the latest leaks, Apple has significantly reduced the display edges - similar to the Apple Watch Ultra. This gives the device a more modern and borderless appearance.

🧠 3. Brightness & color reproduction
Improved peak brightness, especially in direct sunlight (over 2,000 nits expected).

P3 color space and True Tone remain standard.

🧪 4. New technologies (possible)
Anti-reflective coating (similar to the iPad Pro M4)

"Under Display Face ID": For the Pro models, it is speculated that Face ID will be installed under the display for the first time - only the selfie camera will be visible (hole instead of notch).

The Pro models will have a new rectangular camera module that is reminiscent of the design of the Google Pixel 9. The iPhone 17 Air will only have a single rear camera due to its thin design CURVED - CURVED.de.

Despite its slim design, the iPhone 17 Air could achieve a 15-20% higher energy density thanks to new silicon anode batteries. Nevertheless, there are concerns about the actual battery life, especially in comparison to competitor models.
